Changing my website URL and the impact of it
I'm hosting a WordPress-based website as the base of my application. We're currently transferring the site from one host to another, and due to various reasons, need to change the app URL from 'oldAppURL.com' to 'newAppURL.com.'
I'm assuming based on the research I've done, we'll need to re-export the app, and resubmit it to the app store, where it will be reviewed again. Is that correct?
Also, during the transition, is it possible for our team to make changes to the wordpress site on 'newAppURL.com,' in the sense that if they make changes while we wait for the new app files to be approved by the app stores, will their changes stick and be visible once the app launches under the 'newAppURL.com' domain? I figure they should be able to make changes, because we can currently update WordPress on 'oldAppURL.com' and the changes are reflected in the app instantaneously, but let me know if that's not the case, and if we should plan on holding off on making any edits to the WordPress site under 'newAppURL.com' after we've re-exported the code, and are waiting on the app stores to approve the new app.
Thanks!
