Property.ca powers streamlined real estate app experience with Median.co’s expertise

The Canadian real estate company needed to improve its mobile app offerings and deliver a better customer experience on iOS and Android.

Property.ca has made it its mission to simplify the Canadian real estate experience via a powerful real estate listing portal, enabling customers to easily search for the perfect home to rent or purchase.

Since launching in the early 2010s as a small team, the Toronto-based PropTech company has since expanded across Canada, now includes other digital properties — like Condos.ca — and serves over one million registered users. 

The original Property.ca mobile app had performance challenges and wasn't well integrated with their web platform — so, they needed a more performant and flexible solution to serve their user base.

The Challenge: Enhance user engagement and simplify property searches with an updated mobile app

With the real estate industry often proving difficult to navigate for customers, Property.ca — and its sister website Condos.ca — stepped up to the plate. They make property information more accessible and provide actionable insights for customers, no matter their prior real estate experience. 

But after establishing a user base on both web and mobile, Property.ca SVP of Technology Hirad Roshandel knew he needed a change from a previous app developer.
